Our Story. In 1993 Matt and Linda Lussier moved down to Hawthorne, Florida to begin dairy farming in the Sunshine State. 28 years later they have grown their 150 cow farm and raised their family. Their son Kevin and his wife Shelby have recently returned home from college to follow their passion and continue the long-standing tradition of milking cows. While learning the ropes at the dairy they saw the opportunity to diversify the family farm. In 2019 Kevin and Shelby, with the help of Matt and Linda, took the opportunity to start Hawthorne Creek Creamery.
